3 volumes 1Q84 - Trilogy Haruki Murakami

Qamar... two worlds... girl... boy... love story... atmosphere of magic and fantasy, and a journey of self-discovery, and a story of two parallel existences, and a fictional world rivaling George Orwell's world... 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami is so far his most ambitious novel, a deeply impactful, captivating, and highly enjoyable work. It is a unique masterpiece and an artistic achievement, an experience filled with intelligence, excitement, and suspense, which caused a big stir in Japan upon its publication, with its first edition sold out in one day, and one million copies sold in its first month. * * * "If this novel is like a house of fun, then it is that fun taken to an extreme seriousness, where entering it risks your beliefs." (Newsweek magazine) "A great novel fulfills the primary function of literature: to redraw and reshape the world through imagination... At the heart of 1Q84 lies the question of love, how we find it and how we hold onto it." (Los Angeles Times) "Oumama and Tengu walk toward each other as if they are divers making their way to the surface. When I finished reading 1Q84, I felt as if I, too, was ascending to the surface; even days after reading it, the world no longer seemed the same to me." (The Christian Science Monitor)
