Product description

The Naemi sheep grew up in Southwest Asia and its origin from the Syrian Desert. It was developed in fact as a Bedouin sheep breed over centuries of natural and selective breeding to become the highest milk-producing breed in the Middle East. The Naemi sheep breed is of the Eastern type with a fatty tail, and it is the most widespread sheep breed in Southwest Asia. The Naemi is the dominant type in Iraq, and the most important sheep in the Arab Syrian Republic, and the only local sheep breed in Jordan and Lebanon. The breed was raised in desert conditions in northern Saudi Arabia.
