American sugar paper

American Sugar Sheet is often used in cake and dessert decoration, especially for printing edible images or designs. Edible thin paper is usually made from a mixture of: sugar, cornstarch, plant-based gelatin or binding agents, vegetable oil. It should be stored in a sealed bag away from moisture and heat. It is not used directly on moist cream (except after applying a barrier layer like fondant). It is used with edible printers and edible inks.
