Product description
Cycas revoluta palm plant or camel tail. This plant is originally outdoor but can successfully be cultivated as an indoor plant with some easy conditions. The native habitat of this plant extends from Japan to Queensland, and it is found in India and Madagascar. It resembles palm trees and is characterized by slow growth. Some of its types can reach up to 15 meters in height when grown outdoors. Its slow growth is one of the factors for its success as an indoor plant. Care for the Cycas is easy; it tolerates a wide range of temperatures as long as they do not fall below 12 degrees Celsius in winter. It does not like humidity and is not harmed by dry air. It needs direct sunlight throughout the year. It is watered moderately, and in winter, it is watered whenever the soil approaches dryness. It can be fertilized three times a year with a diluted fertilizer less than the usual dose. Propagation of Cycas is through offsets (pups), but it is rare for offsets to grow if kept indoors due to its slow growth and because it is not in its natural place (outside). Offsets are separated and planted by a specialized expert.
Note: We are committed to displaying all products with their photos and detailed descriptions, considering that the sizes, shapes, and lengths of natural plants may vary slightly from the images.
