Advantages of Prila cream, a concentrated topical anesthetic:
Since it is an emulsion composed of oil and water, it is easily and quickly absorbed when applied to the skin, making it work immediately.
Its formula contains two anesthetic substances: lidocaine at 2.5% and prilocaine at 2.5%. These two substances work together to anesthetize the skin and reduce pain.
It is used in several cases, including skin anesthesia during injections and piercing, simple superficial surgical procedures, cleaning leg ulcers, before dermapen and dermaroller sessions, laser sessions, and also before wound and abscess cleaning.
Prila cream is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding to avoid any side effects on the mother or the fetus. Always consult a specialist doctor before using any topical anesthetic products during this period.
It can be applied directly to the area you want to anesthetize, making it easy to use and suitable for topical application.
It is advised to remove the paper backing from the dressing and cover the area to be anesthetized by pressing on the dressing frame. This helps provide insulation for the area and enhances the effect of the anesthetic cream.
Prila cream is recommended to distribute an amount between 1.5 to 2 grams of the cream over every 10 cm of skin, ensuring enough is used to cover the area to be anesthetized.
It is preferable to apply Prila cream to the desired area one hour before hair removal, allowing the cream to take effect and anesthetize the skin before the procedure.
