The poet - Al-Munfaluti

Author: Mustafa Lutfi Al-Manfaluti Classification: Literature and Novel Number of pages: 296 pages Overview: "I love only to compose poetry with what my mind bestows, and only to compose in the way I want, not the way people want me to, and I only enjoy looking at the scenes of flowers that I plant with my own hands in my garden. If God decrees for me a position in life, I will not owe it to anyone other than myself, and my pride in it will only be my own. I do not allow anyone — whoever they are — to elevate me; rather, I must elevate myself by myself." "Poet" is one of the classics of literature, that literary production which takes us back to the creativity of past eras, but in a modern, smooth, and accessible form, so we sail into the past with the oars of the future. And if Al-Manfaluti accompanies us in these literary realms, we feel his adaptation of foreign novels as if their events took place on our land, inspiring the spirit of the novel and then distilling it with an authentic Arab spirit that touches the reader’s soul and conscience.
