Product description
Fuse MAXI from Littelfuse company, operates at 32 volts DC. The fuse features a strong structure and Slo-Blo technology that relies on an internal element that melts in a controlled manner, providing stable performance and low heat dissipation. The fuse is made of high-quality materials: the contact terminals are made of a silver-zinc alloy and tin-plated, while the outer shell is made of flame-retardant PA66 plastic. It operates efficiently at temperatures from -40 to +125 degrees Celsius and can withstand high currents up to 100 amps depending on the model. Key features: • Color coding: Each fuse has a specific color indicating the ampere value, making it easy to identify quickly. • Transparent cover: The cover is transparent so you can see if the fuse is blown or intact without disassembly. • Clearly printed numbers: Large, clear printing on the fuse body shows the current value. • Test points: There are designated points to measure resistance without removing the fuse. • Excellent heat tolerance: It is not easily affected by high temperatures and maintains stable performance. Uses: These fuses are suitable for various types of vehicles and applications, such as: • Passenger cars • Trucks • SUVs • Buses • Boats and yachts (approved by Littelfuse) • Off-road vehicles Electrical performance characteristics: The fuse is designed to disconnect (break the circuit) if there is an abnormal increase in current. For example, if the current increases by 200%, the fuse will disconnect within a period between two seconds to 60 seconds, depending on the size. As temperatures change, the fuse’s current tolerance decreases. The higher the temperature around the fuse, the less current it allows. This is normal and considered in the selection time for MAXI fuses based on amperes and color: 🔶 20A – Yellow: for low-current circuits 🟢 30A – Green: common in automotive systems 🟠 40A – Orange: for air conditioning or fans 🔴 50A – Red: for audio systems 🔵 60A – Blue: for battery circuits 🟤 70A – Beige: for heavy-duty applications ⚪ 80A – Transparent: for high loads 🟣 100A – Purple: for special equipment Smart current tolerance: does not disconnect immediately except in case of a serious increase. Example: • 200% of current = disconnects within seconds • 600% = disconnects immediately Effect of heat: • 25°C = withstands full amperage • 125°C = reduces tolerance (for example, 60A becomes only able to handle 37A) Tips: • Do not use a fuse higher than required • Clean the base before installation • Choose a trusted brand like Littelfuse 🔒 Reliable vehicle protection – stable performance in the toughest conditions
