The prophetic biography as it came in authentic Hadiths - two volumes - ninth edition Author: Muhammad Hamad Abdullah Al-Suwayani Binding: hardcover Volumes: one Paper: Shamooh Size: 14 × 21 Summary: Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, who was the most handsome of people... and the best in character... white tinged with redness... dark hair... with hair reaching the earlobes... about twenty gray hairs... with kohl eyes... black pupils... smooth cheeks... when he was pleased, his face would light up as if it were a piece of the moon... far apart shoulders... when he walked, he seemed to lean on something... walking in a way that shows he is neither weak nor lazy... these are some of his attributes, peace be upon him. As for his sweet biography, which his enemies do not know, it is that he endured 13 years in Mecca, calling... his only weapon was (the word). The pagans disbelieved him, threw filth on his back while he was prostrating, and even tried to assassinate him more than once... they dragged his companions and assassinated some of them, yet he never harmed anyone... he did not raise a weapon, nor incite violence. When the people of Yathrib (Medina) welcomed him, they established his state on their land with words and treaties without shedding a drop of blood. They were a people made up of Jews, idolaters, and Muslims, and he tried to unite them all with another weapon more potent than the weapon of the word he carried from Mecca, which is the weapon of (justice)... He was merciful and humble... milking his sheep, sewing his garment, passing by women and greeting them, and passing by children and greeting them. He was merciful even to those outside his people... his face would darken with sadness when he saw barefoot, naked, hungry idolaters, and he would not rest until he fed them and comforted their hearts... His enemies, the tyrants of Quraish, abandoned him and turned their attention to building his state, forgetting their suppression and persecution. He even allowed his companions to protect their caravans and trade with them, but they did not leave him... they kept inciting tribes against him, and their hatred grew until they prevented him and his companions from visiting the House of their Lord for Hajj and Umrah. They even formed an idol alliance that included the Jews. Although peace be upon him, he loved to agree with them outside of revelation and hosted them, they insulted him and even betrayed him. He was forced to sign a national treaty that guaranteed their freedom and security, but they betrayed the document and continued conspiring to eradicate his state and the religion of his Lord. He was compelled to take up arms in defense of his religion, homeland, and people; for a system without power to protect it is just slogans... He fought wars that were imposed on him, then signed treaties and truces with his enemies, which they quickly broke. The world was surprised by the conquest of Mecca, which was not accompanied by massacres or rapes. After the conquest of Mecca, tribes flocked to embrace his religion voluntarily. Then, peace be upon him, he departed this world without distinguishing himself from his people by clothing or residence... He left without residing in a palace, or wearing gold or silk. He departed while his shield was pawned with a Jewish merchant... He left after introducing the pen and the book into every home. And what book? The Book of Allah, which educates them religiously, spiritually, psychologically, educationally, socially, health-wise, politically, economically, militarily, and judicially... Peace be upon him, he departed in body, but he remains a sun that does not know setting: in monotheism, morals, and mercy to the worlds. This book narrates his life, peace be upon him, documented with authentic Hadiths... in a new edition illuminated by prophetic insights.
