The Book of the Soul (Al-Ruh), which is a book containing twenty-one issues concerning the soul and related matters.
The work in the refinement (Al-Tahdheeb) was carried out according to a methodology summarized as follows:
- Confirming the words of the author without alteration or addition.
- Maintaining the order of the original texts without precedence or delay.
- Limiting to the core idea intended, removing digressions while ensuring the context appears in a coherent manner.
- Conciseness in presenting opinions, evidence, discussions, definitions, and similar content.
- Confirming all chapter and section titles, even if many parts were omitted.
- Including a list at the end of the refinement of benefits and selected phrases that appeared in the original but were not included in the refinement, due to their unsuitability to the context or because they appeared in text that did not meet the refinement criteria.
