The shade and the heat

Author: Fahad bin Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Jarawi Binding: Cardboard Volumes: One Paper: Shamooh Size: 17×24 Overview: I love autobiographies, and nothing connected to them is a shame; such as memoirs, memories, confessions, and diaries. My reasons for them have been connected for about ten years; during which I collected over a thousand titles or more. I lived with some of them through sweet and bitter days: laughter like crying, sadness mixed with joy, and enjoyment disturbed by something the eye encounters; openly committing sins, promoting falsehood, and corruption in morals. Despite all this, in their entirety, they contain lessons that lead to consideration. Therefore, I wanted to select for the reader summaries of the most famous autobiographies, both Arabic and Western, and to delight him with the most beautiful and most exciting, beneficial, and enjoyable parts, from excerpts that please and delight. I have purified them from most of what is shameful, and I hope they will be a close harvest, fresh and vibrant. This collection in your hands represents the "First Group" of those selected works, which included thematic chapters organized from the lives of one hundred and fifty autobiographies. I place it in your hands, and I hope you find in it a gentle, smooth pleasure, a reminder that advises, and a conversation that entertains.
