During it, researcher Al-Rumaidhi discusses the biographies and profiles of 14 historical figures who had a prominent impact on Kuwait's past, demonstrating his interest in historical research with the view that documenting the biographies of men who served this land provides the reader with different perspectives on the nature of life in a society before oil. Al-Rumaidhi in his book addressed the lives of many Kuwaiti figures who were not covered by historians and whose biographies remained hidden or lost or did not receive the proper care and attention. He explained that these diverse and different-minded figures reveal patterns of life of Kuwait's men in the past, and although some are not Kuwaiti, they lived under its shelter and left unforgettable marks on its history.
