Thursday | Departure from Jeddah 🚐

Departure from Jeddah toward Ha'il, beginning an enjoyable road trip through changing landscapes and terrain as we head north.

Arrival in Ha'il, check-in, and some time to relax.

We’ll gather around the table, discover the region’s local flavors, and get ready for the next day’s adventure.

Friday | Ha'il… A Story of History & Mountains 🏛️

🌤️ Morning

We’ll begin our tour around Ha'il’s heritage sites and beautiful landmarks, exploring the region’s history and experiencing its old-world atmosphere, with stops for photos and enjoying the surroundings.

Free time to relax, enjoy coffee, and prepare for the evening adventure.

⛰️ After Asr | Hiking Toward Sunset

🌄 We’ll head to one of the mountains overlooking Ha'il.

🥾 An easy-to-moderate hike toward the summit, surrounded by open landscapes and views that gradually transform as sunset approaches.

🔥 And once we reach the summit… the real adventure begins!

We’ll settle on the mountain and watch the sunset over Ha'il from above.

🌅📸 Time to take photos and enjoy the breathtaking views.

🌌 After Sunset…

An evening gathering on the summit beneath the open sky, away from the noise of the city. We’ll enjoy the peace, stars, and atmosphere of the mountains.

🥾 We’ll then begin our descent and return.

Saturday | The Journey Back… But Not Straight Home! ☀️

On Saturday morning, we’ll leave Ha'il and head back toward Jeddah.

But the journey isn’t over yet…

🗺️ We’ll make one or two special stops along the way, selected as beautiful and different points of interest before continuing our journey.

📸 One last opportunity to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and wrap up the adventure at a relaxed pace.

🌇 Arrival in Jeddah before sunset, God willing.

Our Guides

At least two local guides from Ha'il will accompany us throughout the trip. They’ll share stories and insights about Ha'il, assist with the itinerary, and provide Arabic tea, coffee, and snacks during the hike.

• 🥾 Hiking shoes — Please wear proper hiking shoes. Hiking shoes are mandatory. Participants without suitable hiking shoes will unfortunately not be able to join the hike.
• 🔦 A flashlight/headlamp

Terms & Conditions

Please read the following with an open mind. We’re required to include these guidelines to help avoid common issues that may occur on hiking trips, based on both local and international experience in organizing outdoor adventures 😊

• Please fill your vehicle’s fuel tank completely before the day of the trip.
• Please respect the privacy of all group members, especially women, and respect their personal space. Do not photograph anyone you do not know unless they give you permission. Please do not touch anyone under the pretext of helping unless they ask for assistance.
• If a complaint is received regarding inappropriate behavior or harassment toward another participant—for example, sending a woman a WhatsApp message after the trip without a valid reason—the person may be removed from the group.
• Please avoid interacting with strangers if encountered during the trip, and do not share any information about the trip, number of participants, itinerary details, seating locations, route, etc. Any questions from strangers should be directed to the organizer or guide only.
• Being on time is key to a successful trip. If you are late, we may not be able to wait, as delays affect the rest of the group and the trip schedule 🙏🏽
• Mobile phone reception is often intermittent or unavailable on hiking trails. Please inform your family members in advance so they do not become concerned if they cannot reach you.
• It is recommended to wear long sleeves and long pants to protect against insects, if present. Bring a backpack with a jacket in case the weather gets cold, as well as a full set of spare clothes, especially for trips outside Jeddah or in elevated areas.
• In the event of rain accompanied by lightning, please turn off your mobile phone or switch it to airplane mode, maintain distance from others, and stay away from trees.
• You may bring Crocs or comfortable footwear to change into after the hike and give your feet a chance to rest.
• Participants joining such outdoor adventures should have a good level of physical fitness 💪🏼 and must wear proper hiking shoes to protect their feet from potential injuries 🥾
• Always hike with the group. Stay with the group and never walk alone. Anyone who deliberately violates this rule may be removed from the group.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited while hiking 🚬. Smokers may smoke only in designated areas away from vegetation, trees, families, and children, if present.
• Leave no trace. Do not leave any waste behind, especially water bottles and plastic bags, on any trail.
• Participants are not permitted to share the trip’s location map with anyone outside the group, as this may put them at risk of getting lost, especially since Google Maps may not be accurate in remote desert areas.
• Dune driving, drifting, speeding, or any irresponsible driving behavior is strictly prohibited, including entering or leaving the site at high speed and unnecessarily creating dust.

Declaration

I acknowledge that I am participating in a physical activity involving running and hiking/climbing in wilderness areas and elevated terrain at my own personal responsibility. I understand the risks associated with such activities and agree not to hold any party financially or morally responsible for any accidents or incidents that may occur, God forbid.

I also confirm that I do not suffer from any chronic illnesses and that my health condition allows me to participate in such physical activities.
