Voltavet injection 100 ml

VOLTAVET 100 ML solution for veterinary injection contains diclofenac sodium, used to reduce fever and decrease inflammation and pain in cattle and horses, especially in cases of acute and chronic inflammation and musculoskeletal disorders. Composition: Each 1 ml contains: Diclofenac sodium 50 mg (equivalent to diclofenac 46.6 mg) Benzyl alcohol 20 mg Sodium metabisulfite 3 mg Targeted species: cattle, horses Indications: reduce fever, reduce inflammation, relieve pain, cases of acute and chronic lameness, musculoskeletal infections. Dosage and method of use: Cattle: administered via intramuscular injection. 2.3 mg diclofenac / kg of body weight (equivalent to 5 ml of the drug / 100 kg live weight) for 1 – 3 days. In cases of acute lameness: 1.15 mg diclofenac / kg of body weight (equivalent to 2.5 ml of the drug / 100 kg live weight) for 3 days. Horses: recommended to be injected intramuscularly, and intravenous injection can be used if necessary. 2.3 mg diclofenac / kg of body weight (equivalent to 5 ml of the drug / 100 kg live weight) for 3 – 5 days. Withdrawal period: Cattle – meat: 15 days Cattle – milk: 144 hours (6 days) Horses: not applicable – not authorized for use in horses intended for human consumption of meat or milk. Warnings: use is prohibited in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any excipients. Not to be used in animals with gastrointestinal disorders or ulcers. Use is prohibited in cases of liver, heart, or kidney failure. Read the leaflet before use. Storage: keep at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light. After opening, use within 28 days.
