MELOCAM 20 MG/ML Solution for Injection 50 ml Description MELOCAM is a veterinary injection solution containing Meloxicam, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), acting as a strong anti-inflammatory, pain reliever, and fever reducer. It is used in cattle and horses to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal diseases and acute conditions after therapeutic procedures. Composition (per ml): Meloxicam 20 mg Pharmaceutical form Solution for injection. Target animals Cattle, horses. Indications Anti-inflammatory. Pain relief. Fever reduction. Used in cases of musculoskeletal inflammation and acute inflammatory conditions. Method of administration and doses Route of administration: Subcutaneous or intravenous injection. Doses: Cattle: One injection subcutaneously or intravenously at 2.5 ml / 100 kg body weight. Horses: One intravenous injection at 3 ml / 100 kg body weight. Withdrawal periods Cattle: Meat: 15 days Milk: 5 days (120 hours) Horses: Meat: 5 days Not authorized for use in milk-producing horses for human consumption. Warnings and precautions Use with caution in animals suffering from dehydration or renal failure. Do not use with other NSAIDs simultaneously. Use only under veterinary supervision.
