ERASER 500 EC – 250 ML Description Organophosphorus veterinary insecticide in the form of a concentrated emulsifiable liquid (EC), containing Phoxim 50% w/v, intended for controlling external parasites on animals, used by spraying, dipping, or washing. Effective against ticks, lice, fleas, flies, and some crawling and flying insects. Active ingredient Phoxim 50% w/v Mode of action An insecticide from the organophosphate group, works by inhibiting cholinesterase enzyme in parasites, leading to paralysis and then death. Indications for use Control of ticks, lice, fleas, and flies on: Camels Cattle Horses Sheep Goats Control of crawling and flying insects in barns and farms. Directions for use and dosages General usage rate: 1 liter per 1000 liters of water (i.e., 1 ml per 1 liter of water). Prepare a concentrated solution first at a ratio of 1:10 (insecticide: water), then add to the required amount of water for treatment. Spraying / Dipping / Washing: use the same concentration, ensuring the solution reaches all parts of the animal’s body. In severe cases, re-treatment can be done after 7 days depending on the severity of the infestation. Withdrawal period Meat: 28 days Milk: not to be used on animals intended for milk production for human consumption. Important notes Avoid spraying the face, especially the eyes, nose, and mouth. Do not use on sick, weak, dehydrated, or pregnant animals. Animals should not be dipped until 7 days after shearing. Ensure water sources are not contaminated with the insecticide.
