DIAZITRIM-FORT ORAL SUSPENSION 750 ML Description A veterinary oral suspension combining sulfadiazine and trimethoprim, intended for the treatment of bacterial infections in broiler chickens. It works effectively against common enteric and respiratory pathogens in poultry flocks, and is administered through drinking water for ease of application and rapid distribution within the flock. Composition (per 1 ml) Sulfadiazine (as sulfadiazine sodium): 400 mg Trimethoprim: 80 mg Target Animals Broiler chickens Indications Treatment of primary bacterial outbreaks. Secondary bacterial infections associated with respiratory diseases in poultry. Effective against: Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella Includes cases: bacterial diarrhea, E. coli septicemia, polorum disease, typhoid, and poultry cholera. Dosage and Method of Use Administer via drinking water. Recommended daily dose: 15 mg active ingredients / kg live weight / day. Practically: 1 ml for every 5 liters of drinking water for broiler chickens at 6 weeks old under normal conditions. Duration of treatment: 5 consecutive days. Shake well before use. Withdrawal Period Meat: 5 days Storage Conditions Keep out of reach of children. Do not store above 30°C. Store in a dry, dark place, do not freeze. Post-dilution shelf life: only 24 hours, and the remaining product should be discarded afterward.
