O.S.T FORT 10 ML Description O.S.T fort is an hormonal solution for injection containing Oestradiol cypionate, used to regulate and stimulate reproductive activity in female animals. It activates the female reproductive system, improves follicular response, supports treatment of uterine disorders, and stimulates milk let-down in selected cases. It is also used within estrus regulation and artificial insemination programs under veterinary supervision. Composition (per ml): Oestradiol cypionate 5 mg Excipients 1 ml Pharmaceutical form Injection solution. Target animals Camels, cattle, sheep, goats, dogs, cats. Indications for use Stimulating estrus in cattle and camels suffering from weak or silent heat. Regulating and synchronizing estrus within breeding programs. Assisting in expelling retained placenta. Expelling mummified fetuses. Supportive treatment in cases of endometritis, pyometra, and uterine bleeding. Stimulating milk let-down. Improving the efficiency of female reproductive organs such as the uterus, vagina, ovaries, and mammary gland. Alternative treatment in spayed female dogs, especially in cases of incontinence. Preventing fertilized egg implantation in cases of unwanted mating (dogs). Method of administration and dosages Method of administration: Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Guideline dosages: Cattle: 0.8 – 1.5 ml per head. Female camels: 1 – 2 ml per head. Goats and sheep: 0.5 – 0.8 ml per head. Female dogs: 0.125 – 0.25 ml per head. Cats: 0.05 – 0.12 ml per head. Warnings and precautions Not diluted with water and not cooled. Do not exceed recommended doses. The animal’s reproductive system must be examined before use. It is prohibited to use during pregnancy, as estrogen may cause pregnancy termination. Side effects Prolonged estrus period. Reproductive irritation. Ovarian cysts. Decreased milk flow at high doses.
