AVIMEC 250 ML AVIMEC veterinary injection solution contains Ivermectin 10 mg/ml, intended for treatment and control of internal and external parasites sensitive to Ivermectin in cattle and sheep. It works by paralyzing and effectively eliminating parasites when used at the recommended doses. Composition Ivermectin — 10 mg/ml Glycerol Formal Propylene Glycol Indications for Use In cattle: - Adult and L4 larvae roundworms (including inhibited). - Lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus). - Eye worms (Thelazia spp.). - Larvae of flies under the skin (Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum). - Mange (Psoroptes ovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis). - Sucking lice. In sheep: - Adult and L4 larvae roundworms (including inhibited). - Lungworms (Dictyocaulus filaria, Protostrongylus rufescens). - Nasal larvae (Oestrus ovis). - Mange (Psoroptes ovis). Effective against resistant strains of some parasites to Benzimidazoles. Method of Administration Subcutaneous injection only. Dosage Cattle: 1 ml per 50 kg live weight Sheep: 0.5 ml per 25 kg live weight Accurate weight estimation is necessary to ensure effective treatment. Withdrawal Periods Meat: - Cattle: 49 days - Sheep: 42 days Milk: Not to be used in dairy cattle or sheep intended for human consumption. Warnings and Precautions For veterinary use only. Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly. Avoid contact with skin or self-injection. Wash hands after use. Storage Keep below 30°C. Protect from light. Shelf life after opening: 6 months.
