Crushed calcium for large parrots Sitacus

Chalky calcium stones are a complementary product for medium and large birds. This product allows the birds to correct the inherent calcium deficiency in seed mixes and increase the demand for calcium that occurs during periods of expansion or growth. The birds are fully capable of regulating their intake of calcium-rich foods according to their needs; therefore, the product is presented in a thick form to prevent excessive involuntary ingestion. Calcium stones can be provided free of charge in a separate feeding unit or mixed with the rest of the diet components (1 to 2% of the seed mix and/or food calculated on the dry weight of the provided diet). The availability of calcium stones allows the birds to absorb the amount of calcium they need at any time. The composition includes calcium carbonate shells, calcium carbonate, crystallized calcium carbonate. Analytical components: moisture 3.0%, crude ash 95.5%, calcium 37.5%, sodium 0.32%.
