Product description

Ethiopia Tirtira – Supernatural

This exceptional coffee comes from the Guji Hambela region in Oromia, where it is grown at elevations ranging from 1,800 to 2,200 meters above sea level. It undergoes an exceptional Supernatural process involving two stages of anaerobic fermentation, giving the coffee its intense fruity character and unique complexity.

The process begins by fermenting the coffee cherries in sealed, low-oxygen tanks for up to 72 hours, allowing sugars and aromatic compounds to develop within the cherries. The cherries are then transferred to a second anaerobic fermentation stage inside airtight containers to enhance the coffee’s depth, sweetness, and flavor complexity. Afterward, they are dried on raised beds for 21 to 27 days—a longer period than is typical for Ethiopian natural processing—which further concentrates the flavors and highlights the coffee’s distinctive characteristics.

The result is a rich and well-balanced cup featuring notes of ripe mango and berries, with a full, creamy body and a distinct chocolate finish, offering a sweet and intense sensory experience with a long-lasting aftertaste.
