Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O Dog

Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O is a complete dietetic dry food for dogs, formulated to dissolve struvite stones and reduce their recurrence through urine acidifying properties, a low level of magnesium and restricted high-quality protein, with urine dilution to reduce struvite and calcium oxalate stone formation.

Note: a veterinary diet; seek your veterinarian's advice before use, and check renal function first. For older dogs, Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ is recommended.

How to use

• 5–12 weeks for struvite dissolution and up to 6 months to reduce recurrence, with regular veterinary re-evaluation.
• Daily amount by dog weight and body condition (thin / normal / overweight):
• 2 kg → 54 / 48 / 41 g, 5 kg → 108 / 95 / 82 g.
• 10 kg → 181 / 159 / 138 g, 15 kg → 245 / 216 / 187 g, 20 kg → 305 / 268 / 232 g.
• Water should be available at all times.

Composition

Maize flour, rice, animal fats, dehydrated poultry protein, maize gluten, minerals, hydrolysed animal proteins, vegetable fibres, soya oil, fish oil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, mono- and diglycerides of palmitic and stearic acids esterified with citric acid, marigold extract (source of lutein). Protein sources: dehydrated poultry protein, hydrolysed animal proteins.
