Royal Canin Veterinary Diabetic Dog 1.5 kg

Royal Canin Veterinary Diabetic is a dry food for diabetic dogs, using low glycaemic index cereals and selected fibres to help manage post-prandial blood glucose, with reduced starch and high protein to support muscle mass maintenance.

How to use

• First-line nutrition for newly diagnosed diabetes until glycaemic control is achieved; overweight dogs can then transition to Satiety for weight loss.
• Use digital food scales. Daily amount by dog weight and body condition (thin / normal / overweight):
• 2 kg → 61 / 54 / 46 g, 4 kg → 103 / 91 / 78 g, 6 kg → 139 / 123 / 106 g.
• 8 kg → 173 / 152 / 131 g, 10 kg → 205 / 180 / 155 g, 15 kg → 277 / 244 / 211 g.
• 20 kg → 344 / 303 / 261 g, 30 kg → 466 / 410 / 354 g, 40 kg → 578 / 509 / 440 g.
• Water should be available at all times.

Composition

Dehydrated poultry protein, barley, wheat gluten, maize gluten, vegetable fibres, hydrolysed animal proteins, animal fats, beet pulp, tapioca, fish oil, psyllium husks and seeds, fructo-oligo-saccharides, minerals, marigold extract (source of lutein). Carbohydrate sources: barley, tapioca.
