Royal Canin Maxi Starter Mother & Babydog

Royal Canin Maxi Starter Mother & Babydog is a complete dry food for large-breed mother dogs (adult weight 26 to 44 kg) at the end of gestation and during lactation, and for their weaning puppies up to 2 months old, including large litters. The kibble rehydrates into a porridge-like texture to ease the move to solid food.

How to use

• Puppies: Babydog Milk in the first weeks, then rehydrated kibble starting at about 30 g a day and rising to 280–320 g a day by weeks 6–8, depending on breed size.
• Mother in late gestation (weeks 6–9): 334 to 700 g a day, depending on her weight and the week of gestation.
• During lactation: feed ad libitum.
• At 8 weeks, move the puppies to Royal Canin Maxi Puppy.
• Always keep fresh drinking water available.

Composition

Rice, dehydrated poultry protein, animal fats, wheat gluten, maize, hydrolysed animal proteins, minerals, beet pulp, soya oil, vegetable fibres, fish oil, psyllium husks and seeds, fructo-oligo-saccharides, hydrolysed yeast (source of manno-oligo-saccharides and betaglucans) (0.3%), algal oil (source of DHA), butyric acid salt, marigold meal.
