Royal Canin Veterinary Renal Cat 2 kg

Royal Canin Veterinary Renal is a dry food for cats, formulated to support the kidneys in cases of chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury, with low phosphorus and moderate high-quality protein, adapted energy to reduce meal volume, and a specific aroma and round kibble to stimulate appetite. It also helps reduce oxalate stone formation through low calcium and vitamin D and urine alkalising properties.

How to use

• Initially feed for up to 6 months in chronic renal insufficiency and oxalate stone reduction.
• Daily amount by cat weight and body condition (thin / normal / overweight):
• 2 kg → 39 / 32 / 26 g, 3 kg → 52 / 43 / 35 g, 4 kg → 64 / 53 / 42 g.
• 5 kg → 74 / 62 / 50 g, 6 kg → 85 / 71 / 57 g, 7 kg → 95 / 79 / 63 g.
• 8 kg → 104 / 87 / 69 g, 9 kg → 113 / 94 / 75 g, 10 kg → 122 / 102 / 81 g.
• Water should be available at all times.

Composition

Maize flour, rice, animal fats, wheat gluten, maize, soya protein isolate, vegetable fibres, maize gluten, minerals, hydrolysed animal proteins, chicory pulp, fish oil, soya oil, mono- and diglycerides of palmitic and stearic acids esterified with citric acid, psyllium husks and seeds, fructo-oligosaccharides, marigold extract (source of lutein). Protein sources: wheat gluten, soya protein isolate, maize gluten, hydrolysed poultry protein.
