Dosage and Administration Amoxivet 20% is administered orally with feed or drinking water: Calves: 400 mg of the active substance / 45.5 kg of body weight (2 g Amoxivet 20% / 45.5 kg body weight) twice daily by mixing with milk or milk replacer for 3–5 days. Poultry: 70 mg of Amoxivet 20% per kg of body weight per day for 5 days. When administered via drinking water, the total amount of Amoxivet 20% required to treat the entire group for one day can be calculated as follows: Dose of Amoxivet 20% (mg/kg) × average body weight (kg) × number of animals / 1000 = grams needed daily The amount needed for 1000 liters of drinking water is calculated as follows: Dose of Amoxivet 20% (mg/kg) × average body weight (kg) × number of animals / total daily water consumption in liters = grams per 1000 liters Mix the calculated amount evenly in 10 liters of drinking water.
