Pharma Tylosin Drops, broad-spectrum antibiotic, used to treat various respiratory diseases. Tylosin is an antibiotic from the macrolide group. It inhibits protein synthesis in the cell of the microorganism by affecting transport; it binds to the 50S subunit of the ribosome. It causes functional disorders with blockage of certain stages in protein synthesis (RNAt-phenylalanine with ribosomal function), leading to bacterial death. The medication may be bactericidal or bacteriostatic, and the effect depends on its concentration and the type of microorganism, meaning it is bactericidal at normal doses and bacteriostatic at high doses. Tylosin is a preferred drug as an alternative to penicillin in cases of infections with staphylococci, Corynebacteria, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, and Legionella, especially in respiratory infections.
