When used according to instructions, it provides a thorough and safe cleansing procedure and stimulates complete evacuation of the left colon, usually within 1 to 5 minutes, without pain or cramping. Do not take sodium phosphate dibasic / single-dose sodium phosphate enema: Congestive heart failure Significant impairment of kidney function Known or suspected gastrointestinal obstruction Megacolon (congenital or acquired) Paralytic ileus Perforated anus Generally in all cases where absorption capacity increases or elimination capacity decreases Children under 2 years old Hypersensitivity to active ingredients Warnings and precautions: Use with caution if: Kidney dysfunction Use of medications known to affect renal perfusion or renal function or hydration status Electrolyte disturbances or those taking diuretics or other medications that may affect electrolyte levels You are taking medications known to prolong QT interval Ascites Had a colostomy Potential side effects: Dehydration Diarrhea Nausea / vomiting Other medications and single-dose sodium phosphate enema: Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Other sodium phosphate preparations, including solution or tablets, should not be given concurrently. Electrolyte disturbances and hypovolemia caused by cleansing may be worsened due to inadequate oral fluid intake, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, or use of diuretics (furosemide), ACE inhibitors (lisinopril, ramipril), angiotensin receptor blockers (candesartan), NSAIDs (ibuprofen, diclofenac), lithium, or other drugs that may affect electrolyte levels, and may lead to metabolic acidosis, seizures, kidney failure, QT prolongation, and in more severe cases, organ failure, arrhythmias / cardiac arrest, and death. Lithium: Avoid combination as it may reduce its effectiveness. How to take sodium phosphate dibasic / single-dose sodium phosphate enema: Adults and children over 2 years: Use one enema daily. Usage instructions: Remove the orange protective shield from the enema before inserting it. With continuous pressure, gently insert the tip of the enema into the rectum with a slight side-to-side motion, directing the tip toward the navel. Insertion may be easier if the person receiving the enema tolerates it, as if having a bowel movement. This helps relax the muscles around the anus. Stop use if it is difficult to insert the tip. Pushing the tip into the rectum can cause injury (especially if you have hemorrhoids). If the enema tip causes bleeding or pain in the rectum, seek medical care immediately. Squeeze the bottle until almost all the liquid is expelled. It is not necessary to empty the entire bottle, as it contains more liquid than needed. Remove from the rectum and hold the position until the urge to evacuate is strong (usually 1 to 5 minutes). Positions for using this enema: Left side position: lie on the left side with the knee bent, comfortably resting the arms. Knee-chest position: kneel, then lower the head and chest forward until the left side of the face rests on the surface with the left arm comfortably bent. If no urge is felt after 5 minutes of use, try to evacuate the bowels. Contact a doctor immediately if no liquid exits the rectum after 30 minutes, as dehydration may occur. An enema should be used at room temperature. How to store sodium phosphate dibasic / single-dose sodium phosphate enema: Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not store above 30°C. Do not freeze or refrigerate. Product details: Brand: Fletal Quantity: 1 tube Product model: Enema
