Acesin 1% / Dithylamine Salicylate 5% 40 grams What is Acesin / Dithylamine Salicylate and what is its use: Acesin is a medicine belonging to a class known as "capillary stabilizing agents". It works by acting on blood vessels by reducing fluid leakage into tissues and accelerating the resolution of edema (swelling caused by fluids). It also reduces inflammation and improves blood circulation. Dithylamine Salicylate is a pain reliever and an anti-inflammatory agent. This product is used to relieve pain and inflammation, and to treat swelling and local congestion caused by crush injuries, sprains, bruises, hematomas (blood accumulation), contusions, tendon sheath inflammation, varicose veins, thrombophlebitis (inflammation causing blood clot formation and blockage of one or more veins), disc lesions, neck pain, and other types of pain related to the spine. It can also be used for vein care after injections. Do not use Acesin / Dithylamine Salicylate: if you are allergic to Acesin or Dithylamine Salicylate or any ingredients of this medication. Inform your doctor about any allergies and symptoms you have. On mucous membranes, areas of skin exposed to radiation therapy, or broken skin areas. Warnings and precautions: Stop using the medication immediately and talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you experience allergic reactions such as shortness of breath, rash, facial or neck swelling, low blood pressure, or dizziness. Talk to your doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve. Do not apply this gel to skin areas affected by eczema (atopic dermatitis), ulcers, or areas exposed to radiation to prevent a burning sensation. This medication is for external topical use only. Do not swallow this medication. Possible side effects: Side effects include allergic reactions (such as rash; chills; itching), skin redness, skin peeling, hives (pale, swollen red bumps or plaques), angioedema (recurrent unexpected swelling in tissues like the eyes, lips, mouth cavity, intestines, or throat). Other medications and Acesin / Dithylamine Salicylate: inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken or might take any other medications, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, herbs, vitamins, and supplements. Avoid using this product if you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners) to prevent increased bleeding risk. How to use Acesin / Dithylamine Salicylate: spread a thin layer of the product on the affected skin area once daily or more frequently. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions if they recommend a different usage. Close the gel cap after use. Make sure to wash your hands before and after applying the medication. How to store Acesin / Dithylamine Salicylate: keep the medication out of reach of children and pets. Store at room temperature.
