What is the use of sodium genes, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate: used to treat symptoms resulting from acid reflux and bile and pepsin to the esophagus such as acid regurgitation and heartburn and indigestion, for example after meals or during pregnancy, and for symptoms of increased stomach acid (hyperacidity). It can also be used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux during treatment with or after withdrawal of acid-suppressing therapy. Do not take sodium genes, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate: hypersensitivity to sodium alginates, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, or hydroxybenzoate esters (parabens). Warnings and precautions: This product contains a high amount of sodium. This should be particularly considered for those following a low-salt diet (for example in some cases of congestive heart failure and kidney weakness). Caution if you have hypercalcemia, renal calcification, and recurrent calcium kidney stones. Taking this product may mask symptoms of other more serious underlying medical conditions. Contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). This medication contains 2.1 mg of benzyl alcohol (from fennel flavor) per 20 ml dose. Benzyl alcohol may cause allergic reactions.
