Product description: Lorinex-D is a treatment to relieve cold and allergy symptoms with a formulation that does not cause drowsiness and lasts up to 12 hours. Lorinex-D tablets relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above, such as: nasal and sinus congestion. Sneezing. Runny nose. Tears and itching in the eyes. Decongestants cause blood vessel constriction. This leads to clearing the blocked nose. Usage instructions: Lorinex-D tablets can be taken with or without food. Swallow Lorinex-D tablets whole, do not break, crush, or chew the tablet before swallowing. If you cannot swallow a full Lorinex-D tablet, tell your doctor. You may need a different medication. Take one Lorinex-D tablet twice daily (every 12 hours). Do not use for children under 12 years old. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve within 7 days or if symptoms are associated with fever. Warnings and precautions: Do not take Lorinex-D tablets if you: Have an allergy to Lorinex-D extended-release tablets or any of the ingredients listed at the end of this leaflet. Are allergic to loratadine. Have narrow-angle glaucoma. Have urinary problems (urinary retention). Are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) for depression, or if you have stopped taking MAOI within the past two weeks. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure whether you are taking MAOIs. Have a sudden increase in blood pressure. Have severe heart disease. Talk to your doctor before taking this medication if you have any of these conditions. Do not take Lorinex-D tablets if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering.
