Produced by Qataf Radwa Organic Farm, specialized in the production of Moringa and medicinal and aromatic plants. Seeds for planting. For planting papaya, several seeds should be placed in each container to ensure germination. The seedlings may start to appear after about two weeks when planted under sunlight. When the seedlings reach about 30 centimeters in height, they can be removed and planted in the garden, with a distance of approximately 2.4-3 meters between each seedling. The seedlings will begin to bloom after five or six months, taking care to plant the seedlings on the southern or southeastern side of the house, and to provide some protection from cold weather and wind. Papaya grows best under full sunlight, in well-draining soil, and therefore cannot tolerate moist conditions. Papaya seedlings can be easily damaged by standing water around them, but they do not produce large fruits unless watered regularly. If planted in clay soil that retains water well, watering should be limited to once every three or four days. If planted in sandy or rocky soil, watering should be done once every two days during hot weather, or every few days in cold seasons. Soil fertilization requires providing the best care for papaya trees to grow and thrive better. It is recommended to apply about 113 grams of complete fertilizer to small seedlings every two weeks, and about 454-907 grams of complete fertilizer to larger trees once a month. It is also important to periodically check a soil sample and improve it if necessary. It is advised to spread a mulch of wood chips about 10 centimeters thick around the trees to help retain moisture, leaving a distance of about 20-30 centimeters between the mulch and the trunk. Protecting the developing fruit from pests is essential by placing a paper bag around it until it ripens.
