The Qadar (Al-Madhen): a vessel made from a soap-like material extracted from mountains extending from Abha to Najran. It is considered a hereditary symbol of the region's heritage. The lid: a conical-shaped lid made from palm fronds and decorated with threads, traditional embroidery, and natural leather. The mat: a circular woven mat made from palm fronds placed under the Qadar. Usage: the Madhen is used for serving and cooking popular traditional dishes, such as "Al-Raqsh" in Najran. The lid helps preserve the temperature of the food for a long time, up to four hours. The stone Madahen add a distinctive and beautiful flavor to the food.
