Product description

Jonathan McNees, one of the United States Marine Corps veterans and an outdoor enthusiast, has lifelong experience in field knife use. When he combined this hard-earned vision with his skills as a custom knife maker, one of the results was his folding knife "Killer B" — a small cutting tool that can be carried daily and was an inspiration for the Spyderco McBee. The positive evidence that function is a matter of design, not size, is that the McBee features a ground stainless steel Wharncliffe blade made from CTS® XHP. The unique shell-like spine creates a look that offers a scalpel-like precision and incredible cutting strength. Despite its small size, it is also capable of being opened with one hand through the Round Hole™ brand. The final blade is paired with a stonewashed finish and a handle featuring precise titanium scales. The face scale (near side) has a series of structural holes, while the reverse side scale forms the basis of the strong Reeve Integral Lock (RIL) mechanism of the knife. Both scales have a beautiful matte finish and are marked with the distinctive McNees engraving on the lock cavity and pivot heads. The polished sandblasted pocket clip made of stainless steel allows for right-side carry and is supported by a lined lanyard hole for easy attachment of cords and chains.
