Cold Steel Leatherneck Semper-Fi knife

The Cold Steel Leatherneck series consists of two distinctive types of blades, and has gained great popularity among members of the armed forces: Leatherneck-SF (short for Semper-Fi) with a precisely hand-polished blade, and Leatherneck Tanto with Cold Steel's distinctive "American Tanto" blade with a reinforced tip for increased durability. Both types are made from durable D2 steel, coated with a non-reflective black powder. To protect the user's fingers from slipping onto the sharp edge, Leatherneck knives come with a double steel guard. The handles are made from deeply engraved Kray-Ex™ material, which covers the full wide blade of the Leatherneck knives. The Leatherneck handle is covered with a thick polished steel cover (not cheap plastic or cast as in some other types available in the market), allowing it to be used as a hammer in emergency situations! To carry the Leatherneck knives safely and easily, each full blade comes with a strong and versatile military-style Secure-Ex sheath with a fully detachable belt loop that can be used by hand.
