Product description

The top of the ASICS speed line — for the player who moves before the ball

ASICS splits its volleyball shoes into lines: Sky Elite for jumping and Netburner Ballistic for speed. The NETBURNER BALLISTIC FF 4 is the top shoe of the speed line, built for the player the match needs in every direction: a sudden start, a stop, then an instant change of direction — with the ability to jump when the moment comes. Its low cut leaves the ankle free. Japan's national-team libero Tomohiro Yamamoto plays in a limited colourway of it.

Technology

  • SPEEDTRUSS — a new midfoot structure that keeps the foot stable at push-off, so your speed goes where you want instead of being lost in the shoe twisting under you.
  • X-GUIDANCE — a sole design that guides the foot through fast starts. In practice: a quicker first step in reception and defence, and cleaner changes of direction.
  • Full-length FLYTEFOAM midsole — a light foam that absorbs the impact of each step and landing without weighing the shoe down; a balance of lightness and cushioning that stays comfortable through long matches.
  • Low cut — the collar sits below the ankle bone, keeping its full range of motion when you get low and explode out.
  • Removable insole — swap it for an orthotic or sports insole that suits your foot.

Who is it for?

  • Liberos and defenders — covering a wide area with repeated short bursts in every direction.
  • Outside hitters — combining reception and attack, needing a fast shoe that still lets you jump.
  • Setters — reaching the second ball from any angle, then instant stability for the set.

If you want the same shoe with support above the ankle, choose the Netburner Ballistic FF MT 4; if your game is built on repeated jumping, the Sky Elite FF 4 is closer to what you need.
