International driving license from SATA

The international driving license is valid for only one year from the date of issuance. The international driving license allows the holder to drive outside the country of residence, as it is issued based on the local license, and is not used inside the country of residence. The Kingdom's accession to the Vienna Convention grants citizens and residents the right to drive in the signatory countries when they obtain the license from the Saudi Car Club (SATA), which is accredited by the International Automobile Federation. The international driving license is valid for only one year from the date of issuance. Conditions for issuance: It is a requirement that the local driving license be valid for at least one year. The international license issuance is limited to citizens and residents in Saudi Arabia only. Required documents: a copy of the travel passport (information page), a copy of the Saudi driving license, a personal photo (preferably 3.5*4.5 size).
