Product description
The approaches of the previous Arab grammarians were subjected to multiple criticisms due to their exaggeration in focusing on syntax and its rules at the expense of equally considering speech patterns, making it the most important science of language. They also placed great importance on the "theory of the operator" used in parsing words, and sometimes their schools disagreed on the cases of syntax in a way that confused those interested in Arabic. With the atmosphere of renaissance and modernization that prevailed in the Arab world over the last three centuries, voices demanding the facilitation of Arabic grammar and its purification from flaws and difficulties, expressed by the consensus of students of knowledge who were annoyed by grammar and tired of its rules, grew louder. The author decided to study it deeply — driven by his passion for it — to produce the book he spent seven years working on, creating a stir he anticipated but did not fear out of respect for the language of the Qur'an. The critics and grammarians received his thesis either with support and praise or with fierce attack; the final opinion was left to the reader.
