Al-Amariya, a story of a neighborhood from the memory of Jeddah

The book (Al-Ammariya: The Story of a Neighborhood from Jeddah's Memory) is not just a book, but a historical encyclopedia that includes selected snippets from Jeddah's history and architectural heritage, the main water sources that feed the city, the history of the neighborhood's establishment, the most prominent landmarks of the neighborhood, most notably the (Green Palace) which was the headquarters of King Abdulaziz - may Allah have mercy on him - for years even after his headquarters moved to Qasr Khuzam, according to a recorded statistic showing the number of times King Abdulaziz stayed at the Green Palace and the delegations he received, as well as the number of times Crown Prince King Saud later stayed there, and the Deputy King of Hejaz King Faisal later at the palace, and the names of princes some of whom became kings and successors of the founding king who participated in some official occasions. The book also includes historical information about the neighboring neighborhoods of the historical area and Al-Ammariya neighborhood, as well as names and biographies of some families and personalities who lived in the neighborhood, and mentions some professions and industries that were based in the neighborhood.
