I loved and soon recovery from harmful relationships

We always wait for someone .. we think that with their presence all our pains will disappear and peace will fill us, and we imagine that at that moment we will feel completeness! And the truth slaps us that that person we saw as the savior .. perhaps is the one who grants us our greatest disappointment.. And instead of flourishing beside them .. we may wither .. and withdraw .. and fade away .. and melt! The other becomes our hell when we seek to numb our pains through them, and the sick relationship becomes a distraction from facing ourselves, just an escape and fleeing! To those who think they heal the thirst .. by chasing the mirage!
