The "Social Contract" of Rousseau appeared with his book "Emile" in 1762, thus indicating that he reached the peak of his work, and in fact, the "Social Contract" practically includes all his constructive political theory. Rousseau wrote this book at a time when it was extremely dangerous to openly express any free opinion. Rousseau was bold in everything he expressed, and he attacked slavery and inequality, fought for human rights, and based them on the nature of things. He said that the goal of every social and political system is to preserve the rights of each individual, and that only the people are the sovereign. He aimed for a republican system, and this system was realized through the French Revolution after thirty years when the "Social Contract" became the gospel of this revolution. Rousseau did not advocate for the governments of his time as they conflicted with nature, because his doctrine is based on the idea that man is inherently good, loving justice and order. Society corrupted him and made him miserable, and society is bad because it does not treat people equally and benefits... and ownership is unjust because it is taken from the common royal property that should belong only to humanity. Therefore, society must be abolished, and humans should return to nature, where they agree through a social contract to establish a society acceptable to all. In this way, they establish a government that grants everyone equal rights, so that the sovereignty of the people replaces the sovereignty of the king, and people are equal, with wealth, education, and religion organized.
