The technical foundations of writing and expression

The reader of the chapters of this book realizes at first glance the great need for such a book, because its author has addressed, theoretically and practically, various writing issues that develop multiple skills among students. From collecting the Noble Quran in its different stages to highlighting the importance of writing and acquiring good technical skill, to linguistics and rhetoric, and the origin of Arabic writing and its good qualities, to spelling rules and punctuation marks, and other matters related to the art of writing and expression, which reassures us that the author has exerted commendable effort for what he has presented in this field. The teacher Al-Najjar did not overlook to cover his book with two very important topics, namely (the art of summarizing), which he addressed in chapter ten, and (how to write a research paper) in chapter eleven. It is not hidden what the first topic contains of seriousness that is not found among students, while these students suffer from not knowing how to write a research paper in a precise scientific manner, and this is what the author tried to address in chapter eleven of the book. The book (The Artistic Foundations of Writing and Expression) is truly a book that a student, scholar, or researcher cannot do without, and it deserves to be included in every Arab library as part of its scientific and literary collection, because of the many benefits it contains, especially in faculties of Education and Arts, and because of its practical aspects.
