Dates palm in the writings of European travelers

Date palm's triumph has sacred features due to its connection with symbolic connotations or its association with events witnessed by the palm or its branches. And despite the neglect of European travelers in the Arabian Peninsula of this close link between the palm and the religions that were sent in the East, the blessing of the palm still lives in deep religious subconsciousness, just as in the name Tamara which they used to call girls in honor of the sacredness and beauty of the palm. And while the paths taken by European travelers across the Arabian Peninsula varied, this study focuses on the routes traveled by travelers who were attracted to the palm, especially areas of date production and trade centers.
