Language and lying

This is a book in linguistics! And its title, as it appeared in its original language, is "Linguistics of Lying." And this is one aspect of the renewal that the book contains. It has abandoned criticizing lying, condemning it, and praising the virtues of truthfulness, and it has moved away from the ethical or religious-philosophical perspective in addressing lying.
