The foundations of aquaculture step by step towards commercial aquaculture

Due to the urgent desire to provide additional seafood; where the population increase has led to a focus on fishing and thus depletion of the fishery wealth in its marine sources, in addition to the limited environmental pollution affecting it; it was necessary to turn towards producing farmed seafood to meet the needs of communities for several factors, the most important of which are: (1) depletion and exhaustion of fish stocks in many parts of the world due to overfishing. (2) rising production costs and decreasing fish stock. (3) the topography of the seabed that limits the efficiency of fishing methods as in the Red Sea. This has led to increased interest in aquatic farming of fish and other aquatic organisms in recent years in Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia.
