From Jeddah to Asmara, and from Al-Nazla to Khatmiyah, and from the Red Sea coast to the other side of it, the dualities unfold in this novel that won the Sharjah Award for Arab Creativity 2012, published by the Arab Cultural Center, Beirut - Casablanca. "Omar," the hero of the novel, crosses Jeddah that grew within him to Asmara, Massawa, Keren, and other cities of the homeland postponed in search of himself to meet Samrawit, the Eritrean girl coming from her Parisian exile, so that both begin their joint search for the homeland of dreams. The work is rich with the daily life of the neighborhood, the scent of alleys in Al-Nazla Al-Yamaniyah, in addition to the arts, customs, and features of the Eritrean people.
