Product description

In this book, there are values that Ali Al-Wardi opposes in the Iraqi city... These values, as he sees them... were an extension of comprehensive tribalism that descended into cities from some outskirts of Iraq and its rural areas... and it awakened the backwardness in the morals of cities to form, in their different streams, tribal, sectarian, and professional tribalism. The major dilemma that Ali Al-Wardi studies is the one that threatens the social structure, which is represented in the erosion of the city's role in facing the rural invasion, and it is a situation that Al-Wardi sees as having gone beyond its social problems, the expansion of tribalism, and the penetration of different values into the fabric of cities, to something more dangerous, when the fanaticism of the backward values of the countryside and the adherence to the primitive, driven by instinct, took over the country's political life. Al-Wardi addressed this issue through study, analysis, and interpretation, while many were prevented by embarrassment from dealing with this phenomenon and attempting to analyze and interpret it, due to the sensitivities it raises and the shortcomings in understanding and acceptance it faces.
