Poetry of Hijazi, the complete poetic works of the poet Zimam

The author's interest in publishing these poems was for preserving as much as possible of the Hijazi vocabulary and pronunciation dialect from extinction, especially the three major cities (Mecca Al-Mukarramah, Medina Al-Munawwarah, and Jeddah). Its communities have been invaded by many Arabic and foreign dialects and words, which weakened the local spoken language due to infrequent use, so the new generation's ignorance of their meanings, and the loss of the sense of the aesthetics of their words, and abandoning them although in their authenticity they have pure Arabic roots.
