Product description

The author in this book seeks to find a middle way, and a reading mechanism accepted by reason and religion for the Darwinian theory known as the theory of evolution or emergence and ascent. The author sees that Darwin's theory has a profound impact on various fields of knowledge; therefore, he believes that researching the theory and its intersections with different fields of knowledge and transferring this to Arabic is of utmost necessity for the benefit it contains. The author has refuted two opposing opinions about the theory of evolution; as he believes that both — whether those who supported the theory or those who opposed it — have harmed it in an unjust way. He directed criticism to both Dr. Shibli Shamil and Sayyid Jamal al-Din al-Afghani; the former for his influence in spreading the Darwinian doctrine based on materialism, and the latter for his influence in working to disprove the doctrine, thinking that its dissemination might corrupt thought and traditions more than it would benefit.
