My days at the club

Publication: 2010 Abdel Fattah Abu Madin is not only creative in his literary and cultural production, but he is also creative in his work ethic, in his dedication to work, and in his enthusiasm for the idea he believes in. I believe that we will continue to recognize Abdel Fattah Abu Madin as a true active role in activating culture, in mobilizing it, and in transforming cultural work into actual production: manifested on the podium, in books, and in ongoing calls; through organizing conferences and seminars. This man can be understood by everyone who has dealt with him as embodying the aspect we call work ethics when work turns into a life project, as if serving others and serving culture is primarily a personal matter: he offers it to himself and interacts with it. Therefore, Abdel Fattah Abu Madin will be among the few men in our Arab world who launched culture and opened its horizons beyond all borders and geographical constraints. And here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: we can boast that we have a man named Abdel Fattah Abu Madin.
