Product description

The description of the book Al-Isharat states that it is a comprehensive and mature book by Ibn Sina. The book Al-Isharat consists of two parts, the first part on logic which is divided into ten sub-sections, while the second part revolves around philosophy which is divided into ten sub-sections. Ibn Sina calls the sub-sections of logic by the names of approach or method, and philosophy as part of Namat, then divided it into four topics: logic, physics, metaphysics, and Sufism. The titles of Al-Isharat are derived from the majority of the chapters in the entire work. The word Isharat means signs, notes, indications, and hints; alerts mean several words such as transformations. The book Al-Isharat and Al-Tanbihat refers to Ibn Sina's own opinions. When referring to Al-Tanbihat, it shows the errors of other philosophers on one subject. Ibn Sina sometimes refers to the word Isharat with words like follow-up, final comment, and desire. He also refers to Tanbihat with words like misguidance.
